I'm married to this guy.
His name is Kris. He is pretty much my best friend.
We have been together for seven years. We met in 2008 through mutual friends. Our first adventure together was racing shopping carts down the middle of the only street in Hagerman. A small town with no stop lights and all the stores are closed before 8:00pm. We had a fun night but parted ways as no more than acquaintances.
The second time we remember crossing paths was at the car show in Hagerman. Again, Kris was hanging out with his friends and I was with mine. Our friends brought us together once more. We hung out for a bit as a group but them again moved on.
On December 31, 2008 we were at the same party for New Years, again mutual friends. At some point during the night our paths crossed and because of our previous encounters there was some comfortability between us. As midnight neared closer I was getting anxious about getting a New Year's kiss. To ease my nerves I went right up to Kris and asked him, "Are you going to kiss me or not?" Midnight struck and he kissed me.That was the first of a life time of kisses.
The next day we went snowmobiling then to a movie and we have been together ever since.
We got married on August 5, 2011.
Now we lead a comfortable life. Kris is a dairy owner in Hagerman, that same town where we first made our connection. He likes what he does. He likes being outside and he is a great leader and boss.
